I wanted some more ‘people’ shots so got together with a fencing instructor friend of mine to make some images of him wearing his gear and pulling some shapes.
As you can see, we experimented with the smoke-machine and light gels to give different moods to the shots and make them a little more interesting. It soon became apparent that in general, smooth, mostly dissipated smoke gave a more suitable effect to the pictures when compared to ‘fresher’ more lumpy smoke.
We bagged quite a few fun images over a couple of hours and I was quite happy with the overall results.
