May Day may have started off with the Jack in The Green procession but most people are in Hastings to witness the 20,000 odd motorbikes that pour into the town as the Hastings May Day run gets underway. The weather wasn’t as nice as last year but the event seemed better organised with more for the average punter (that’s me) to do and see.

and lots of not very shiny people – this guy was particularly cool and let me snap his pic – I think it wasn’t the first time he’d posed for a shot!
