Sunset Union

Description

After finding what I considered to be the best spot to shoot Cranbrook’s Union Mill, I had to wait until the perfect day – when the setting sun illuminated the bank of clouds behind it with a beautiful deep pink glow. Then, using a long lens, I cropped in tightly to lose the rooftops and branches that were all around leaving just the mill against a bright pink section of cloud.
