Even though my trusty sat nav and I were by all accounts thoroughly lost and confused by the road works and one way streets of deepest darkest Gravesend, The NWOBHM band More 2012 were shooting a video for their latest single at the Leo’s Red Lion and I had decided to pop along and snap a few pics for the band. Apparently the venue was in an even deeper and darker part of Gravesend – I got there in the end!

Whilst trying to avoid getting in the way of the camera man, avoid eating hula hoops and avoid tripping over unseen obstacles in the dark – not to mention trying to find where I put my camera! I was able to spend a few hours watching some old rockers simply refuse to stop doing what they do. Lots of energy and stage presence and they make great music too. Lots of fun anecdotes from the glory days of old when singers sang rather than screamed and real men wore leather?!

I had a splendid day with a great bunch of chaps and I wasn’t sick of the song after I had heard it about a hundred times either – which is most certainly a good sign. Am I looking forward to the album coming out – you bet.
