April seemed full of new growth and some amazing light that comes along when you have particularly heavy skies

These two images were taken on a trip to Leeds Castle, a place I hadn’t visited before but my favourite images turned out to be not of the castle at all. The large tree is in the grounds of the Castle but the oilseed rape field was a couple of miles from the castle on the return journey.

I could see the colour of the oilseed rape from the road so we made a detour and came up trumps as the light was hitting the filed which contrasted nicely with the heavy skies
