my Instagram feed is always full of other people’s shots of Durdle Door near Lulworth Cove in Dorset so when we finally had the time to visit, I made the effort to get up and shoot a sunrise, revisit during the day and even go back for a sunset. It was worth it.

No matter what time of day you visit, Durdle Door seems to be covered in visiting tourists (of which I was most certainly one). Even at dawn, we were the only people on the beach but there were a good few others on the cliffs above taking photos and just soaking up the views.

From  a photographic point of view, Durdle Door is another one of those over-shot views but it is still a very beautiful place and I would love to experience some different conditions and visit again at some point in the future.

But I’m very glad I finally got there.
