Earlier in the year we had stumbled across an ‘out of season’ lavender field whilst out walking near Sevenoaks. As the lavender was now in flower, I decided it was time for a revisit.

We arrived shortly before sunset so that we had plenty of time to have a look around and even get the drone up for a few overhead and look-down shots. These came out quite nicely as the fields were quite oddly shaped and the colours made some interesting patterns.

By the time the sun had started to set, I had worked out the compositions that I wanted to try and capture. In the end, it was a nice little sunset, adding a little interest to an otherwise plain sky and I was quite happy with the results.
